It is an honor to share with you my latest work, "Let's Just Pretend We Didn't Say That." A satirical, occasionally dark, and frequently inappropriate reflection of my' rather awkward relationship with words.
By training, I'm an academic and a professor. My ratings greatly improved after I married a tiger wife who growls in syllables for improvement. So, for the better, I took a sabbatical. Our twin girls only had a stay-at-home dad plying faces to nipples on bottles and me crafting fixins' into bento boxes. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with an incurable, progressive, and ultimately debilitating neurologic disease. Living with a tiger and growling twins is not related to mental decline. Wait, I think I mixed that up, but they're teenagers now, and everything is a fight. I have reflected with great interest my various roles and the changes our societies are going through. Humans think they are radically changing how they communicate, yet we show the same behavior as our ancestors. Soon after my diagnosis, I was quietly saying, "Let's just pretend we didn't say that," and here we have a book.
